Air Exchange Testing
Medical institutions are working hard to ensure the safety of healthcare personnel and patients. For example, HVAC technicians are relied upon to evaluate and modify HVAC systems to ensure that airflow and outside air volumes meet current requirements and regulations. In addition, indoor air quality may be tested, adjusted, and controlled using recognized healthcare standards. These concepts apply to anything from cleanrooms to an infected child’s bedroom and everything in between. We at Mountain Medical Gas LLC measure air exchange rates in all types of rooms that require a specific air exchange rate & or pressure relationship – Operating Rooms, Anesthetizing locations, Infectious patient isolation rooms, Instrument processing rooms, Sterile storage rooms, Laboratories, etc. All Testing is accompanied by the required pass or fail documentation, and all documentation is delivered to the customer for regulatory compliance record keeping upon completion.
About this Process
We currently test hundreds of rooms / patient spaces for facilities each year having to adhere to specific air exchange & pressure relationship requirements. Our cutting edge air exchange equipment, testing methods, & testing documentation all give you an accurate easy to understand view of the space we are testing. All our testing is completed with a pass or fail grading system as required per state & local jurisdiction. Delivered testing documentation records for your facility documentation accompany each room tested upon testing completion.
